There are a lot of things in this world that can be auctioned including vacations. Yes! Holiday packages, hotel reservations, tours, Spa packages, air tickets; you name it, they have it.
Budget Travel’s article “It’s a Bidder’s Market” gives you a heads-up on the auction scene, what prompted it and how to get in on it.
Strangely, the article does not include a Do’s and Dont’s section which is, not so surprisingly, included in another article, “5 Steps to Smart Bidding”.
I haven’t tried this thing so far. But with the year approaching to a close coupled with the compulsion to take some “family time off” will definitely lead me down that track.
